Here, we provide links to interesting and what we find important, connections and information. It is a frightening thing to discover what has happened to our food here in the US, a country capable of feeding everyone within its borders, with healthy food, and yet 20 million children go to sleep hungry every night. Surprised at the increase in diabetes? Heart disease? Obese children/adults? Autism? Alzheimers? Seems a bit the same as the increase in use of genetically modified ("GM") foods, use of trans-fats instead of natural fats, and use of corn syrup (over 90% GM), and white bread (GMO, non-wholegrain and contains corn-syrup!). Know your farmer, know your food! Buy local, be healthy, be happy!
Farm Stand Building delayed....
We were planning to add a farm stand to our property by spring of 2017. This would allow customers access to many more of our products on a daily basis, as well as educational programs in agriculture and fiber arts. If you are interested in supporting us in this endeavor, please contact us! The building pictured may differ slightly from the one we actually obtain. Funding is needed for this dream to appear. Ask what you can do to help! Donations are greatly appreciated!

Raise Awareness and Support Sustainable Agriculture!
New! Get your own bumper sticker and share the positive twist on "No Farms, No Food", and let's see what happens - positively! Support sustainable agriculture, and a local farm. $2.00 each.
Here are a few tips:
Avoid white bread
Boycott anything genetically modified. Buy bulk (savings!) in season and dry it if necessary to have year round.
Locate and switch to a source of natural sugar - organic, non-GMO, unbleached and unadulterated pure cane sugar, or, alternatives - honey or maple and support a few more local farmers.
Switch to whole-grain breads and cereals that are unsweetened!
Switch to local meats, and if possible heritage breeds that are sustainably produced.
