Hard boiled farm fresh eggs:
So, you had a backlog of our fresh eggs and decided to hardboil them, only to find it a world war battle to get the shell off?
Tips -
add about a 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the water, bring to a boil, boil steadily for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Place the boiled eggs immediately into ice water and cool before peeling
Place in a jar, gently shake, remove and the shell should peel right off.
For best luck, use slighty older eggs. (This is why store-bought peel so easily, they can be as much as 6 months old!)
